Connect Instagram and schedule a post

Connect your Instagram account, let Lua write the post, and schedule it. Nothing goes out until you approve it.

What you need

Lua installed and signed in, with a finished video.
An Instagram professional account (Creator or Business). Instagram only lets apps post to professional accounts.

Connect Instagram
Go to Settings → Connections and choose Connect Instagram. Instagram opens in your browser so you can sign in and allow Lua to post.
When you come back, Lua asks you to confirm the connection. Lua only keeps your Instagram link (your handle), and you can disconnect at any time.
Instagram posting is opening to creators in batches. If yours isn’t switched on yet, you can still export the video and post it yourself.
Open the Publish screen
From your video, choose to post it. Lua writes the title, the Instagram caption in your voice, the hashtags and the first comment. It learns your voice from your own past posts.

Lua writes the caption, you approve, it exports and picks a cover, then books the slot.
Every field can be edited. Don’t like the caption? Change it, or ask Lua to rewrite it.
Choose the cover and the time
Pick one of three covers taken from the exported video. Under When, take the next free slot or choose your own time. You can schedule up to 30 days ahead.
Approve
Press Approve. Nothing is posted before this. The video’s stage changes to Scheduled, then Posted with a link once Instagram has it live. If something goes wrong it shows Failed, with the reason and a Retry button.
Change your mind? Cancel the post before its time.
Optional: answer “link?” comments
In Comments & DMs, choose a keyword such as LINK and the words to send. When someone comments that keyword, Lua replies in public and sends your link by DM from your own account. These are rules you write; Lua doesn’t make up replies.

DMBeta
Beta — sent as Instagram's private reply, once per comment, within 7 days. The first DM checks that your account allows messages.

New comments are checked every 5 minutes, on old posts too. Replies and DMs go out at a steady pace.
